Automatic vehicle parking control system

Automatic vehicle parking control systemUsing control boundaries limiting a portion of the road (parking lot), the AVPCS calculates average time needed for a vehicle equipped with an induction number plate to pass through the given portion. If a vehicle spends more time than average on the given portion, that vehicle is considered to be parked.

The parking time period spans from the moment the entered the parking lot by crossing either boundary till the moment it crosses either boundary again leaving the parking lot minus the average time needed to pass through the given portion.

If the vehicle is parked in a paid parking lot, the system automatically calculates the parking cost using pre-set tariffs and then collects the payment from the driver’s electronic “wallet”. In case the vehicle is parked in a prohibited space, the system calculates and collects the fine for parking violation just as well.
